What if papi was right?
At the time, my grandpa Ernest had a dozen handkerchiefs that he washed (well more precisely than my grandmother washed and rewashed). He used them all his life and there was never any question of changing that!
And you, do you remember your grandparents’ handkerchiefs? Or yours when you were children?
We live in a “kleenex society” which takes and throws very quickly. Let’s stop single use and learn to live in harmony with our planet.
Just over 2 years ago, I became aware of the ecological impactthat my daily life represented.
I then gradually changed my way of consumingin different areas. In the bathroom, in food (local and seasonal), but also in my dressing room (thank you for second-hand clothes).
Naturally, these changes reduce waste, and I firmly believe that each of these small gestures has its importance.
My grandfather used fabric tissues all his life and there was never any question of changing that. As a homecoming, in recall of these childhood memories and to rediscover thislost habit, I founded ernest & lulu.
All together, let’s go back to the simple things of daily life!
